What is your cancellation policy? Please use a 12-hour cancellation policy for services up to $85, and a 24-hour policy for $86 and above. Your credit card on file will be charged up to 100% of the appointment if you are late or you miss your appointment. My policies have been developed over time to respect my appointment times, my ability to fill each appointment time with paying clients, and respect of my clients’ time, and budgets.
How do I book an appointment? All bookings can be made through Vagaro.
What if I am running late? If you going to be more than one minute late, please call or text me. I will always do my best to fit you in if you are late, although there may be times I suggest you rebook.
I requested my appointment day/time, now what? You will receive an email that you requested the desired day/time of your appointment. I will respond to your request and the booking system will send you a confirmation email. Please pay close attention to the day and time of your confirmed appointment.
What if I am not sure what services to book? Feel free to call or text the salon for clarification.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel? Jump onto Vagaro my online booking system and make your change.
Where do I park? Park anywhere on the street since the parking lot is just for reserved parking only.
Will waxing hurt? I really don't hear many clients telling me they are in pain. The truth is, it may be the first time, maybe, but just take an OTCV pain reliever about a half hour before your appointment.
I heard the more I wax the easier it gets. Is that true? Yes, the more waxing in sensitive areas you get, sometimes the rest of the places that hurt the most will be simply tolerable. If you let too much time elapse or shave, this can throw off that removal of the three layers of hair that grow, and when you allow too much time to pass, you are likely to find yourself starting from behind the 8-ball since all three growths are present and that is where the ouchie starts. Yes, if you are waxed on the regular, your hair grows in different cycles so after three times, you should be golden.
What kind of wax do you use? I use different types of wax for different parts of the body. For more information, reach out to me and I can answer any questions.
What if I will feel embarrassed? You may feel embarrassed, but I do my best to be bast and thorough. You are likely to catch on pretty quickly that I do my best to get you going quickly and keep the conversation light while wax.
What is a Brazilian wax? It is the entire genital area has hair removed including the backside (butthole).
Do you wax men, too? Yes, I wax everyone! Everywhere!
Is it okay to wax when I am on my period? Yes, just use a tampon.
What if I haven't been able to shower before my appointment? How will I be able to freshen up? You will be offered the opportunity to use the restroom. Feel free to ask for a "fresher upper" to take to the bathroom with you.
Am I susceptible to ingrown hairs if I wax? No, not with proper exfoliation. If you have a lot of hair and it grows in different ways, you may be, however, my clients do not complain about ingrown hair very often.
Is there any circumstance you won't be able to wax me? Please suspend any use of retinols of any kind like adaptaline or Retin-A for at least a week prior to waxing. The skin will come off with the wax because it is sensitive.
What if I have several body parts I need waxed? Book a combination or bundle wax to include all body parts or choose (or add)any extra individual body part(s) you want to be waxed.
What type of payments do you take? Cash, Debit, and all major Credit Cards.
Do you take bitcoin? Not yet.
Do you give discounts? I offer “bundle” or “combination” pricing at this time. I also do my best to keep pricing as reasonable as possible.
